Sacred Heart College has been delighted to host St Patrick’s School, St Mary's School and St Joseph's School Year 8 girls to our ‘HEARTS’ programme again this year. This is a curriculum extension programme which enhances learning and gives the girls a little feel of what it will be like at High School next year.
The programme provides exciting learning opportunities from across the secondary school curriculum and comprised of four 2-hour workshops. Curriculum areas included:- The Mystery of Medieval Medicine – History and English
- The relationship between Mathematics and different styles of dance – Music and Mathematics
- Natural indicators and being a real scientist – Science
- Adventure based learning - PE
