Year 9 Retreat
The Year 9 Retreat took place on Tuesday 3 December. Students were invited to buy gifts as part of our Christmas gifting to families in need. The afternoon was spent designing a Christmas Liturgy that celebrated the greatest gift of all, Jesus.
Year 10 Camp
The Year 10 overnight camp was held at the Tukituki Christian Camp on the banks of the Tukituki river in Haumoana. The students set up tents and then participated in activities run by the YMCA, these consisted of: ·Raft Building Working together as a team to plan, design and build a raft that is able to be paddled on flat water. Instruction was given on tying knots, construction and safety. ·Archerysoft Progressing to targets that move, and shooting back, the game is a cross between archery, dodgeball, tag and paintball. The girls participated in all activities and so much fun was had by all.
No Chair Day
On Friday 29 November the girls raised money for our Indian RNDM sisters to go towards classroom furniture by getting sponsorship for ‘No chairs day’. We had an incredible amount raised of nearly $800 within just the junior school. Thank you to the girls who supported this cause.
